So I have a late 2016 mbp 15'' with touchbar.

For some reason, whenever I plug a usb hub, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XU6IMWY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

My wifi range/strength drops drastically.

If I am doing a speedtest and I plug in the hub, the speed test stalls and connection gets lost and the network speed becomes super slow.

If I unplug the hub and not do anything else, the internet speed is perfectly fine.

What gives?

read through the reviews, apparently it is because the hub unit is unshielded? Something with that affects the wifi antennae's.

MBP best laptop on the market. anyone that says different is just a hater.

I've built my desktop PC and am mostly a PC user.

However, the convenience of having an apple phone + mbp is too great.
