Coupon code brings it down to 65$, slowly buying the components for my build and I haven't built in years so not sure what kind of pricing to be expected

Only reason I wasn't concerned with it being semi modular is because it's only the 24 and 8 pin connector that can't be removed

Then there's cheaper and you can't get sleeved kits.
Trust me when I say sleeving a semi modular unit is a bitch, I've done it first hand.

theres more then just better caps with that unit.
I mean warranty, QA is better, RMA is better i find with seasonic, list goes on.

ye i didn't even look at the warranty and stuff just what's inside since that's the only thing i care about when i shop for them now since out of the 4 psu failures i've personally had they've all been caused by crapped out caps.

I've been using always-on systems for very long and that's been the only component that seems to die quicker than the rest when you do that. Only other things that have fried on me are one hdd and a monitor. All my other components just got replaced eventually and sit in the closet if they are ever needed again, including an e6750 + its mobo and ram that ran for almost 8 years straight without a hiccup.

i think my next psu will be SeaSonic. Currently got a Corsair with tier 2 caps.
