My major issue is that it no longer allows me to adjust fan speed. It also reset my OC settings.
Anyone have similar symptoms? Should I use another program to OC & control fan speed (if so, please pm me it)? Thanks!

did you try to uninstall and reinstall?

This did the trick.
Either my program was outdated (had 420, downloaded 430) or Windows 10 update likes to mess with shit.

Windows 10 updates definitely fucked with stuff. The only thing that irritates me about W10 is the forced applications that you can't uninstall. It irks me so much that I cannot remove the Edge browser, Cortana, etc. from the start menu.

Remember Windows XP? It had a lot of internet explorer dependencies right down to its basic framework, and wouldn't allow you to uninstall it because everything would break. Cortana is basically the same thing: If you could get rid of it, you wouldn't want to.

You MIGHT be able to seriously "maim" Edge Browser.

I did it to IE w/e version in Win 7.
In Programs and Features (Win 7), there is/was a "Turn Windows features on or off. In there you could seriously shut down "most" of IE.
I would think, that somewhere in Win 10, you would have the same kind of thing.

I could never un-install IE from the C: drive, but I could leave it unconscious on the curbside, by just unchecking the associated box...

win 10 didnt break when I disabled cortana but I have always used classic shell

love win 10 for some of its features and love classic shell for some of its features

But i didn't say you couldn't 'disable' it.

you can't cortana for the same reasons you couldn't get rid of IE.

You can't fully disable it either, changing the shell is like putting a different coat of paint on a car; what goes on under the hood remains unchanged.

The way I disabled IE in Win 7...pretty much killed it w/o breaking Win 7. Windows Updates didn't even see it anymore.
If Win 10 doesn't have "Turn Windows features on or off" ... yet...someone will probably make a tool to do it. Sooner or later.
