You know all a gpu does when you get right down to it is draw triangles, right? it has basically nothing in common with this.
Still an impressive camera though, I wonder how fast it's writing data to record like that.

Like.. it's got to be writing petabytes per second at the minimum. Boggles the brain. I'm sure it only records for tiny fractions of a second so gargantuan amounts of storage isn't a requirement.

I'd set one of those really small fast-burning white fuse firecrackers off in my urethra (not very deep mind you, like 1/5th of the firecracker being in) for a chance to see how they did it. Bandwidth has always been one of the major limiting factors in high-speed cameras.
