It's making a constant noise now and I've never had this issue before, it's also past warranty so I cannot send it in. I took it apart today to take a look, cleaned the fans, made sure nothing was loose, and it's still making the noise.

If I pick the laptop up and continuously move it the noise stops, when I hold it still it starts up again.

Check for any loose cable that maybe hitting the fan blades.
Also check the bearings side of the fan...dust may have gotten in there.

Nothing is loose from what I saw and I cleaned the fans today :-(

Replace the fan then should be 10-20$ tops. Aside from fan the only thing that would rev is the HD.
If it is the drive I'd honestly opt to replace it with a SSD cause platter drives are just fucking slow.

Shits been hectic to say the least but fams good. Redoing my place so tons of new furniture and shit.
Daughters going into high school next year. Sons still in the gifted program which means he's still in the

That's awesome, glad to hear the family and yourself are doing well. I don't mean to be such a stranger, I rarely post on these forums anymore tbh. There really hasn't been a need to since I stopped playing d2.

I'm loving working in EMS so far, first job I've had that I feel like I'm doing something worth my time and I'm not just showing up to collect a paycheck. As for Colby and them I honestly haven't talked to anyone from the guild in I don't know how long. Smoothy and I had a bit of a falling out--he didn't like how toxic I was on league :-P We played 1 game together and everyone on the enemy team fed me and after the game in the lobby I jokingly said something like, "I would say sorry for your bad (whatever champ I said) but you all sucked." He didn't like that too much so he stopped talking to me and removed me, lol. Never really talked to Morbid tbh, I joined this guild because I talked with Godzillatoss quite a bit.

It could be the start of it failing. It never rev'd like that before and your temps are fine so one would think its going out.
Least thats what I gather from the info you presented. It's kind a common thing with laptops and cheap fans.
Have to ask yourself is it smarter to get a fan now and avoid shit later or wait and hope it doesn't cause a bigger issue.

If its the drive though its also a sign of failure.

Though in both cases theres no sure way to say if or when they will die.

I think I'll just cross my fingers and hope for the best, you saw my other post already about wanting a desktop in a month or 2, hopefully it'll hold out until then.
