So all the parts will be here tomorrow (thanks Amazon prime) compatibility is not an issue but sitting here dreaming of a new computer I realized I may have missed some stuff.

I ordered an i5-6400, do those usually come with compound or should I order more?

Also do most power supplies come with a cable or is that a separate purchase?(I hate that feeling of needing to run out to buy something I feel like should have been included)

Thanks :)

You'll be fine in both cases

There's a thermal pad on the stock heatsink, good for at least one setting of the cooler.

Yes power supplies come with cables..

The stock cooler you are getting with that cpu cooler as preapplied thermal paste.
And yes pretty much all psu comes with cables.

Awesome, thanks! I feel like back in the day I got a psu without a cable and it ruined my day haha. Didn't want that to happen again

As long as you didn't get a 350w PSU without a pci-e cable, you're fine :)

400w semi modular. Just scrolled through all the pics, it shows a power cord in the last one. I'm a dope lol
