lee was helping me but went afk as always

so like today and yesterday (only once yesterday) playerunknowns bgs have been crashing my video card

i had an old driver after skype started crashing instantly on the Apr 7 update

whatever one was before that idk

figured it was time to update driver. crashes got worse.

tomb raider crashed instantly on benchmark.

reinstalled to latest driver with DDU

pubg idled fine at menu

crashed when i got into a match

(first crash was maybe 5 mins after i landed from plane, then a grey screen, then it started instantly crashing)

reseated gpu, dusted it out with compressed air, cleaned out pc of dustballs back and front. same gpu slot 1 cuz the other screws are seized or some shit.

tomb raider 2k15 runs, benched at 58 - 60 fps, 0.3 - 60 fps ? (avg 49), and again at 58-60

fans are turning on normally

The Crew runs absolutely fine around 66c

OCCT barely did anything except the fps went from 60 - 20 after a couple minutes, but that was mostly to check the fans were working

running PUBG now if it doesn't crash will post speccy

update 1: wtf is this?

idle is fine albeit a bit loud (open case) but that might be normal gpu things

what am i looking for in event viewer

also i realized i didnt use DDU in safe mode, should i try again or... i mean it's working for everything else?

it didn't crash this time until i got shot like 3 mins into a solo queue

what the hell was it just a game update i was missing maybe? unverified steam files? but why tomb raider? and why the 0.3 fps on one random benchmark?

okay so dusting out the gpu and the dust balls from the back of the case seemed to help overall temps a lot

but today this shit happened

cpu crashed. mobo went into restart mode. booted into safe mode, ddu, fresh install of latest nvidia drivers.

and then it started running at almost 60c idle at max fan speed? did my cpu get stuck or something lol?

After a restart.

It quieted down and benchmarked tomb raider again (the most recent game i own besides pubg but internet wasn't plugged in)

Running at 29c idle @ 999.8 MHz again?

What the fuck is happening? Bad psu?

Played perfectly fine through a game and everything seems fine as far as temps/voltages?

Maybe it was just a driver problem since I didn't DDU in safe mode?
