so i built my pc last night.
everythings connected properly , in the right place anyways.

my heatsink powers on, my channel fans, the mobo lights up.
but i have absolutely NO peripheral power, no usb 2.0's or 3.0's or VGA connection for my monitor.. no signal leaving the pc at all.

i reseated ram, plugged/unplugged in my cpu 8 pin and my 20+4 pin connectors.

nothing works.

i think its a bad mobo (kingarthur helped me)
im just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues.

everything was brand new
fortunately i can replace my mobo at the store this weekend for free, should i replace my ram too?

The USB ports you're referring to, they are on motherboard or on tower?

The VGA output is on board graphics? No external GPU?

Have you tried resetting CMOS?

Also, post full build

The circular battery on the mobo, pull it out for 15 sec and put back in.

That PSU will be fine.

But if cmos resetting doesn't work then yea exchange mobo.

Resetting the CMOS forces factory settings and in some cases I've seen mobos with x ram not boot up because it doesn't support the speeds. After a cmos reset it defaults to a setting it will support.

However, I don't know much about ryzen and what it does and doesn't support.

And yes on the battery
