Cpu standing up one of the fans starts to make a revving sound, I think its from the vid card
I lay my cpu sideways and the sound went away
Tried airing it but still the same
Any ideas?

Check all the screws that hold the fans to the case or the CPU cooler.

It could be dust in the fan's bearings.
It could be a bearing going bad.
It could be a fan blade that has a nick in it.

To test if it's the vid card fan...IF you have a modern Intel CPU, you can run your monitor from the connector on the motherboard and take the vid card out.

Btw, the computer itself is called a desktop or a tower. The "CPU" is just a chip on the motherboard.

You can also find exactly which fan is the problem, with an 18" piece of wooden dowel rod.
With the computer running, put one end of the dowel rod in your ear (gently) and touch the other end to a part of the chassis nearest to the fan you want to test.
The wooden dowel rod acts like a stethoscope. DO NOT put the end of the dowel rod into a moving fan blade.

Also, give us a Speccy screenshot please...

Get SPECCY here: http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download
...get the FREE version from the: Piriform Link
...Speccy is a really nice system hardware/temperature, information Utility.
...simply install it...and run the program...then post a screen shot of the main page of the program, when posting a problem/question on these forums.

Ok, you CPU (the FX-8320) does NOT have an integrated graphics part, and your motherboard does not have "onboard graphics".

The best way to see if the noise is coming from the vid card, is to remove the vid card and use another vid card temporarily.

You can use a wooden stick like I said, to find out if any of the other fans is the one making the noise. With one end of the stick in your ear, gently place the other end on the fan "shroud" and listen.
If that fan is the one making the noise...you will know immediately. It (the noise) will now sound VERY loud.

If you have a 3rd party CPU cooler, like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, for example....the fan on that cooler, does go bad sometimes.

As for the vid card, I hope it's not one of those fans. XFX may sell replacements, but I doubt it.

All the other fans in your computer can just be replaced, WHEN you find the one that is bad.

/e With the computer turned OFF, check all the fans for any nicks in the fan blades, or any wires that could be hit by the fan blades.
You said it only happens when the case is upright...so when the case is upright, look for any wires that may be dangling enough, to get hit by a fan blade.

/ee If you can...take a pic of the inside of the computer, with the left side panel off. Maybe we will see something obvious.

I should add, that when using a 1/2" dowel rod (or similar) as a stethoscope, do NOT stick it IN your ear, just touch it to your ear as shown by the BLUE dot.

/e A normal no. 2 pencil would work as well, except it's not quite long enough.
For safty sake, use a wooden rod 18" to 24" long.

Be careful. A power supply w/o a fan is pretty useless.
