I've been trying to get a malware off my my gfs Dell Inspiron laptop. It has itself as a service and blocks any kind of malware removal giving me a resources are in use error. Only program i could get to run was Roguekiller which didnt do shit. I booted into safe mode to try and remove it from there with no success, so i set it up to normal boot without services and now it BSODs after every login attempt. When restarting I cant get it to boot into safe mode again, Ive tried mashing f8, holding f8, shift+f8, and other f keys with no luck. I know the f keys work because i can get into the bios and boot menus.

TL;DR how can i boot into safe mode when f8 doesnt work?

try

start > run > type "msconfig" > boot tab >
under boot options click safemode box and check networking circle if you want networking.

/edit
after reading it all I see you can't boot normally so uhh try f5
or put in the windows disc and try the recover console.

also could boot linux and do a virus scan with a linux scanner.

read edit.
I only read teh tl:dr at first

also check bios for enabling f keys.

/edit
actually at this point just format it from the recovery partition or from a disc probably faster unless theres sensitive info.
in which case boot with linux boot disc and extract important data then wipe.

Ive tried f5 already, and ive tried restarting while pressing shift but it seems that is only for win8/10, was hoping to avoid needing to dl a recovery disk, as its only giving me the BSOD because im trying to boot without allowing the virus service to be run

I refuse to wipe a hd over malware

I gave you other options though maybe try those.

/edit
wiping the hard drive is always the best solution though but I mean who am I right not like I've done this for years or anything.
