I just got a evga gtx 1080 ftw2 and in every aspect it performs great except in games all games it causes crazy stuttering skipping and freezing. I have tried everything i can think of. Has anyone else had this issue if so how did you fix it. I am womdering if i should do a fresh install of windows 7 (or 10 but that makes me cringe a little bit) any help or ideas would be great

DDU Instructions - Nvidia
1. Get this program, here: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=144 ...from the "Official Download Here" link, and save it to your desktop.
2. Get your vid card driver here, use the Manual Search: http://www.geforce.com/drivers ...save this to your desktop.
3. Run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you. If it wants to go into "Safe Mode", let it.
4. After it's done and comp has rebooted to normal mode, just double click the Nvidia driver to install. If it want's to reboot, let it.

With your serial number handy (if card is registered with EVGA) call EVGA and choose the "Premium Tech Support. 714-528-4500

/e I added the DDU instructions, so youi can at least try and eliminate the driver as an issue.

Also, when installing an Nvidia vid card driver, always choose Custom Install, make sure you check mark Graphics driver, HD Audio and PhysX, then put a check mark in the little box that says: Perform a clean install.
