might be. seems the card is part of one that had thermal pad issue needs VBIOS update?

spoke with evga. have to run precison xoc - fans on custom profile idling at now 34 degress.

It won't hurt it at all to leave it at 60c & under with 0% fan.

EVGA has long since fixed the thermal pad issue, Unless you somehow managed to get a card that's sat on the shelf for ages..





Afterburner is the program most people use.

entered my serial number and it recommneed vbios/thermal pad. called evga said i should be fine aslong as im running custom fan curve.
