I'm finally in the market for a new laptop. I have looked around quite a bit and found a couple options I feel are suitable but, would like to see if JSP can help.
Price Range: $1,000 - $1,200 ish or even cheaper...
Uses: Movies/Netflix etc, Games (be able to play newer games)
Really don't know what other info you might need, LMK
* Would like this thing to have some good life. Gotta give me a few years.

Here, have a look at these...

https://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100167748%2050001146%2050001312%2050001315%204814%20601205664&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&Order=PRICE&PageSize=60

Look for ones with a 6000 or 7000 series CPU, 16GB of RAM, at minimum a 1TB hard drive, but if possible, one with an SSD and hard drive or just an SSD.

/e You can use the navigation on the left side to sort for 16GB of RAM and the SSD (250 - 500GB) as well, like this...

Sager from xotic PC.

You can fully customize it, and you can upgrade/replace stuff easily down the road.
