So after I put everything together, I tried to boot up the PC.
Monitor didn't recognize anything.

If I remove power to GPU, and just use motherboard, no issue.

Do I have a bad gfx card? Could it be the PCIe slot?
Any ideas?

Do you have any other graphics cards you can test with?

It could be an issue with any of what you said, including power supply.

have you tried remounting GPU and replugging it in?

well make sure you're plugging your monitor into your gpu when it's in your rig as your pc more than likely disables the igpu when a discrete card is inserted

perhaps doa, try reseating and making sure all connections are secure including 24pin, 4/8pin cpu, pcie power cables, and all the ones connected directly to the psu assuming you have a modular psu

The fans on the gfx card spin, it has power.
I don't have another gfx card to test, my first build.
I tried to remove and plug back into mobo, same thing.

msi b250 mobo, msi 480 gfx
dont think anythng else would matter

You can try going into the bios and disabling the Igpu in the settings.
Otherwise can't confirm without some means of testing (provided your card is in fact installed fine). if you know anyone with a PC ask if you can install this guy to test it for functionality.

if you don't know anyone, you can try finding someone on craigslist for someone whod be cool enough to let you test it. that would be the least headache method, if it's not the GPU's fault.

Re-installed it a 3rd time.
Got picture on monitor this time...

Fingers crossed thats the last of it lol
