Just built a computer for a buddy and he bought some U2413s I had laying around.

When they are hooked up with HDMI and his computer goes to sleep the monitors will also sleep.

The problem is about every ~45 seconds the monitors will act like they are waking and then notify that they are going back to sleep.

This doesn't happen when we connect DVI but we are using sound through the monitors so hoping to keep HDMI.

I have a display port cable to run over to him tomorrow after work to see if that fixes it as well.... But thought I would see if anyone had any ideas.

well deal with issues cause sleeps always known to be buggy along with hibernate.

no point in sleep/hibernate when a ssd boots up in <10sec
