I am about to get this printer. It is a laser printer, and seems cheap. But it looks like it should print black and white well and have decent efficiency for toner usage and cost. I can't seem to find any other cheaper laser printer? This one is $50.

Any reason why I should not get this laser printer? I fked up when I bought my canon printer for $20. The canon runs out of ink super fast and the ink is expensive.

Isn't the ink replacement annoying or something?

Idk when I was looking for a decent printer I originally wanted one but something abt the ink plus the price for color printing made me get a beefy inkjet printer...I think you can get 21ppm with a good inkjet

But damnnn laserjets can get over 100ppm haha

i looked up the 3rd party off brand toner replacement and the drum for this. they are around $10-$20 each.
i think the starter toner that comes with this is rated at like 700 pages and then the other toners are rated at around 1,200 or 1,500 pages.

and then i need a new drum after around 10,000 pages

the reason why i want this one is because the printer itself is cheap. also it seems like the toner and drum replacements are cheap too. they should be cheaper to buy than a whole new printer.

although im not too sure how difficult it is to replace the toner and drum. ive heard online a few people had issues doing it and making a mess or having their printer not work well after replacing it. but id assume those few just dont know how to follow instructions?
