You can hit 4.0ghz on stock voltage if you want the easiest overclock. Just change the multiplier to 40

if you have a super good chip you might be able to hit 4.1 or 4.2 on stock voltage as well

Also what motherboard do you have? They typically have built in overclocking profiles to hit set amounts like 4.2 or 4.4 ect without having to dick around with anything.

The first time you enter your bios it will ask you about what tasks you use it for, what cooler you have (stock, aftermarket air, water)

If you answer gaming and water it looks like it gives you 4.3GHZ Gaming and aftermarket air 4.1

It might not be as efficient as manually overclocking in terms of heat or noise but it should be totally safe and super easy.

Hmm well that's pretty easy I guess.
Would I still need to stress test

Aida 64 free trial.

Cinibench

Let Aida run one night while you're sleeping. If it passes Follow it up by a few gaming sessions in cpu intensive games like GTA5, cities skylines, warhammer or starcraft.

I'm sure these guys will have a few others, this a process that I've found to work in finding any stability issues for me.
You might find it Passes aida overnight but gives you a bluescreen once you have 400 units on the screen fighting in starcraft. Just try to stress it in different ways.

Aida will usually crash around 30 mins to an hour on a bad oc. Run it for 12 hours and then game. Most likely will be fine

Increase multiplier
Only touch cpu volts if you're going high enough to warrant it

If you want to fine tune add a few points into the clock speed.
