Just bought a house so looking for a new 60'' TV. I know this is computer section, but I constantly stalk these forums cause you guys are smart when it comes to electronics.

Budget is $1100 or less.

Must be 60'' inches. Width must be less than or equal to 54'' (i will check for this on my own)

undecided on 4k vs 1080. I know 4k is gaining more steam but I think cable is still at 1080 so not sure what I want/doesnt matter for now unless you can convince me.

if 1080 looks good upscaled to 4k, then im all for it

dont care about brand as long as it is VESA wall mountable (which almost all of them are.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I have newegg premier/amazon prime, but will buy from anywhere

Definitely get a 4k. Upscale looks almost as good as 4k.
Netflix can also do 4k

Newegg is the way to go. Can find some tax free deals on there which saves a huge chunk of $$

Something like

I would recommend samsung ks7000. But can't find any on amazon or *** You can get the 60" in Denmark for 1300$ and we have 25% VAT so should fit your budget.
Absolutely amazing TV in the price class. The tizen smart system is top notch. Handles 4k upscaling very well and picture quality and motion is sharp and colorful.

48" 4k Vizio from Newegg for $450 - not smart, Chromecast built in
Got it as a temp cause it was so cheap but now it's mounted and it's definitely grown on me since I bought it. Sound is trash tho, so u need a sound bar and/or speaker.s

These two are great options for the price. Still the Samsung ks7000 got better reviews.

There is almost no content supporting HDR. But damn it looks amazing. If you gonna keep the TV for multiple years it's almost a must.

The 3 tvs I mentioned all supports HDR.
