Thinking about selling it since support sucks for it (XFX R9 390 DD from Bestbuy with Lifetime warrenty and I opened it to re do the TIM). Can't upgrade the drivers cause wattman fucks up my OC and had to downgrade the drivers to fix my OC and get rid of issues. Also gonna get a Ryzen build around Q3-Q4.

Specs:
BenQ Xl2411z (oh look, gsync and not freesync. sell this too and get a freesync? cause i don't plan on getting a nvidia gpu since they overpriced.)
AMD 8350 @ 4.6GHz
16GB RAM (mixed)

gsync? what you talking about gsync freesync?

and those are hardly upgrades

have you checked for hotfix drivers?
amd is on the ball right now for their gpu drivers
dx11 performance has jumped
and they re enabled async on gcn1

Compared to the 480/fury.

My monitor is g sync but I plan on running amd which is freesync so I was contemplating selling the benq for a freesync monitor. And not taking shots at the drivers but Wattman doesn't play nice with my r9 390 since it's meant for Polaris iirc.

I mean the 480 is a great card, but it only beats the 390 by 10-15% depending on the benchmark and game.

If you can catch one of the 4gb 480's on sale on newegg for $155 after MIR that could be a way to mitigate losing any real money through the upgrade.

Then you could turn right around and get Vega if you're looking for the huge gains.
