last night i upgraded to bitdefender 2017 and my desktop tower made alot of noise while installing it, like the HDD was being used or something. but now its still making a shit load of clicking noises and such and the program has been installed already. also i tried to disable bitdefender 2017 and the noise still exists. the noise was never there until i installed bitdefender 2017....

how do i fix this annoying noise? the temps are fine, i checked

have you used crystaldisk to check status of hdd?

no, i dont know what that is, but i will check it out.

edit: ok so i downloaded it, but dont know what to look for or how to use it exactly? im doing the "sequential read" of 5 sections.

He is referring to crystaldiskinfo not mark
Bitdefender is awesome I use it on 3 devices.

I just upgrade from Bitdefender Internet Security 2016 to 2017...all works fine for me.

I ofc had to use the Bitdefender Internet Security - removal tool to get rid of 2106 before installing 2017.
