Kinda unspecified what info you want.
Going to assume you don't know what an SSD is.

Both SSDs and HDDs do the same job: They boot your system, and store your applications and personal files. But each type of storage has its own unique feature set.

If you wanna know more.

You can use both ssd and hdd at the same time. The ssd could be for Windows, programs and main games. While the hdd is for movies, documents and large games.

You most likely have an sata 850 evo. So it would need to be connected the same way as your harddrive.

You need to make sure your motherboards supports SATA 3 to take advantage of the ssd performance.

Ok so I opened up my tower and this is what I got.
I need the wires that go to this ssd, however I only see 2 spots on the motherboard, 1 for hard drive and 1 for cd/DVD drive.

So how am I going to get this in there? I need the other 2 slots.

This is my motherboard, kinda old so I'm guessing maybe not work?

If you don't feel like paying for ssd bracket you could use double sided tape and put in a random spot. I've done that as a solution in my old case.

You could clone it. But I recommend doing a fresh install.
