So I bought a laptop for $140 (CAD) because I was bored.

It's a Eurocom with a core 2 quad 3.0ghz and a 9800 gtx in it.

The thing is a tank, and must have been pretty top of the line when it was released. It's running winows 7.

What kind of games should it be able to play? I loaded up borderlands 2 on it today just to see if it could handle it whatsoever at minimum, but it ran at about 3 frames per year.

Is it basically a minesweeper machine these days?

It's a 10 year old GPU you should upgrade at least every 3 years imo.
It's also a mobile version which is far weaker then the desktop version.

So you do the math.

In other words, it's ladder slasher viable, and that's about it

No. It's not on par with anything. You might be able to run some old D&D games and stuff on it. Think about the year 2007 games and backwards. Yes, back in the day that computer would have been pretty sweet. That day is long gone.

That shit was badass back in the day. Was one of my most liked GPU's so far.

Should be fine with any blizzard games like Diablo 3 and whatnot, possibly bioshock infinite and games alone those lines.
