Got a MSI 1050ti for my desktop at work, as the workstation was recently upgraded everywhere except the video card and lacked a 3rd display output. Well i pulled the old card out (GTX 550 SE, might put it in a museum) and put the new one in and legitimately thought it was broken. PCI-e cable in one hand, but no where to plug it in, there are 4 holes in the top right space of the card but no connector...turns out the 75w it needs is supplied by the PCI-e slot itself. Every card ive ever owned needed more power, but not this little guy...now all 3 monitors are up and running and i feel a bit enlightened.
