My friend has a Toshiba laptop that he bought in Thailand, i am struggling to find exact short part number on toshiba website to get manual for it so i can find out if this laptop can take 16gb of RAM and exact battery that it needs. Also drink has been spilled on it and keyboard no longer working, i was wondering if simply replacing keyboard would fix it ?

Can someone please be so kind and let me know if this laptop can take 16gb of ram and what ram + battery i need to get for it. If i buy wrong stuff theres no returns. I dont want to mess it up

You could always contact toshiba customer service. For original battery be prepared to pay around 100$. As for keyboard, I would guess it is another 50 to 100$ for parts and the installing might be tricky as you most likely need take whole laptop apart. And most likely another 100$ for the 16gb ram, as it is pretty new model I qould guess it can take 16gb.

RAM is fine, just needs upgrading to 16gb

he uses some music software that eats a lot of ram

the laptop it self is pretty good, i7 cpu etc... He just spilled drink on it and keyboard isnt working also battery is dead

PSKTCL-01800L is a Toshiba Satellite L50-B206GX Laptop Notebook, according to this it has 2 slots, 8 gigs max each slot, for a total of 16.

thanks, i think its safe to say that it can take 16gb, i just wanted to triple check before i order it.

Just need to find keyboard and battery now.
