Hi I'm Jordan, I have an old Gateway laptop that wont power on any longer and have pictures that I would really really like to get off of the hard drive if at all possible.
The hard drive is a
320GB
WD Scorpio Blue
MDL:WD3200BEVT-22ZCT0
Please help if you can..If you need additional information just post or PM!

E:I know I need some king of a usb transfer cable or enclosure but I have no clue which one

I would assume you could just remove it from the laptop and hook it to a desktop, and get the data off of it that way.
If you can't get the laptop to power on, then you can't access the drive while it's still in the laptop.
/e You could also put the laptop HDD into an external HDD enclosure, but that wouldn't be free.

Yeah. But if you have a desktop computer, I would temp install it in there. If you don't have a desktop, then yeah that'll work.
