I recently sold my Xbox and am getting back into PC gaming, and it has come to my attention that I don't have a headset..

I've been looking around on walmart and amazon and there's a million options to pick from.

My birthday is coming up soon and I'd like to get a headset, I'm just looking for something decent with a build in mic, probably $60 or under, it won't be for anything serious, just so people around me don't have to hear my noise lol.
With the xbox I had a set of Turtle Beach Xo Four's and they were just fine.

Cloud Hyperx 2 or whatever it is if you're set on a headset

Drop the idea of a headset

Get some nice open back phones (for breathability and comfort) like the AKG 701/702/K7XX or Audio Technica AD-700x or similar

Then add a desktop or clip on mic

I have the AD700's and K7xx's and my brother has a few different headsets and he was amazed the difference in comfort in what I have vs what he has

Superlux HD681 with ModMic for that budget. How ever you would be a lot better with headphones like Sennheiser HD558/598.

Desktop mics are really unnecessary imo

Headsets are for 12yr olds

using virgins doesnt insinuate a lack of knowledge on a product vs a 12yr old would for their lack of experience/age/etc

I use a regular headset with mic, too lazy to do separate mic. If I want good sound just run it through my audio system.
