Hi so long story short, I ordered my computer parts and when I received my package, it was the complete wrong order. I received 2 supplements and 3 ceramic bowls from amazon instead of all of my computer parts.... They told me they have no idea where any of my parts are.

So after a lot of back and forth with customer service, they are resending my parts.

Heres the problem. The GFX card I ordered is now on back order! So now I am SOL and I have to wait anywhere between February 1st - March 9th according to the status of shipment on my order.

I think this is complete bull shit. Should I call them up and complain and see if they can send me a similar model for the inconvenience? If none of this happened, I would have received my card already. Let me know your thoughts.... Kinda a bummer imo...

E: Here is the GFX card I got

Can you recommend me an equally good one? Or are all the 1080 models the exact same, just with price differences?

Just avoid the Founders Edition cards...those with one fan.

ASUS, MSI, EVGA are good ones.

This a good one compared to the one that I currently have?

This is safer...

The orginal EVGA 1080's had an overheating problem with the VRMs. There are newer versions coming out...but it may be a while before they sell off the old ones. :/

Don't email Amazon...call them. Emailing online e-tailers, just causes problems.

Well to be completely honest. I did some emailing before and they worked with me through phone and email. I'm currently at work and if they can't honor my request through email, I'm just going to call them when I get home from work.

Really hope they can do this for me I really do not want to wait possibly 2 months for their fuck up.
