2 more ram sticks are comming next week and STRAFE RGB Keyboard but that's about it.

If anyone has reccomendations for guides to read how to overclock and what are the best benchmarks to test your stuff, I'm super-duper down-to-learn.

Next step is 3d modeling and learning Blender & Unity.

Aida64 for the cpu

General rule of thumb for the extreme editions (well not really but you'll get the idea)

Bump vcore to 1.325 and try for 4.6 ghz on the core. Run aida and cross fingers.

Do you have 2x 16GB sticks 2133MHz?
Otherwise you gotta make a few changes.

and your monitors is only running 59hz instead of 165hz.

ugh, come on windows 7?

You need to put the 4 sticks in quad channel configuration.
I think you would need to fill up all the black or grey slots. So 2x to the left of the CPU and 2x to the right of the CPU. And all in the same color dimm slot.
After this you need to enter BIOS and enable XMP Profile 3200MHz

Monitor hertz you can change in nvidia control panel under "change resolution" you will have option to all the monitors connect. Refresh rate is one of them.
You can also do this under windows settings in "display settings" > "advanced display settings" > "display adapter proerties" > "Monitor" > and choose 165 under screen refresh rate.

And please do consider Windows 10. You would get minor boost in performance here and there and you would be able to use DX12 in newer games.

You can get a legit Win 10 key from KINGUIN for $30, and get the ISO image for Win 10 PRO here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Isn't there a button ON the monitor itself that lets you change refresh rate on the fly?

I looked up ASUS PG279Q ......

/e You need to use a Display Port cable to get 165Hz
