If you're looking to completely wipe it, I'd suggest using dban for that.

Just temporarily unhook the HDD from the computer, then install Windows 10 on the SSD. Then rehook the hard drive to the computer and you can use even...CCleaner (free) to wipe the HDD.

/e DBAN will also work. The reason we unhook the hard drive before installing Win 10 on the SSD, is because we ....can. :)

This will make both the install of Win 10 to the SSD and the wiping of the hard drive after the Win 10 install a LOT easier.

I don't believe Win 10 can do ...WIPE.

I think it can o0nly delete partitions and format. Not sure though.

All hes trying to do is a fresh install on his ssd and delete his hdd. Format would be fine.

Yeah, I know. It's still best to unhook the other drives. Since Windows Vista...MS has made some weird ass installers.

I prefer to have all the Windows stuff on only one drive. The only way I have figured out how to do that is disconnect the other drives.

This is the easiest way. bro. ^^

/e

Just install the SSD.
Unhook the HDD.
Install Win 10 on the SSD.
Rehook the HDD.
Install CCleaner (free) on the SSD and use it to wipe the HDD. You can just format the HDD as well...if you have no infections or similar on the HDD.
