I moved from a MSI Z170 SLI Plus (ATX) to a MSI Z170 Mortar (mATX). I just plugged everything in and I'm on my PC as if nothing ever changed (minus my overclock). All drivers seem alright as far as I can tell. THAT BEING SAID... should I still wipe it all and reinstall windows or do y'all reckon I'm gucci?

I would do a clean install, get all drivers and other stuff installed...then make a full OS image backup.

What are the chances the Z170 SLI Plus and Z170 Mortar use the same drivers? I have audio, USBs, and LAN all working perfectly.

Good chance. But that's not the point.
Clean install will just run ....better.

For the key...use AIDA64 Extreme. Under Software > Licenses ...you will find the key. Then you just type it in...during install.
As for the clean install...
The nice tight virgin install of everything, erodes over time. Gets sloppy. Runs slower.
It's up to you ofc. But for me...new hardware = clean install and backup.

You don't need to reinstall shit. Windows is smart.

Hm. I'll consider it. Done building for tonight. Probably going to get rid of my Corsair H100i V2. It's extremely... limiting. haha I wanna find a smaller air cooler, I think.
