So I finally got my first SSD ive been reading some things like what not to do.

So far ive gotten

never Defrag
Dont constantly write to it
Dont fill completely

Wondering if its a bad idea to use it for a server or should i set up the server on a mechanical and once its fully configured to my liking then switch it over. or should i just use it in my comp to load my games faster XD

write to it at will that was odler ssd's not the new ones.
defraging is auto disabled by windows.
you never fill any HD tbh not just ssd's.

you can use it in any environment.

doesn't windows defrag em in their own special way?

no the defraging is auto disabled by os once an ssd is connected.

there not defrag like normal drives and I wasn't about to explain all that here.
windows constantly defrags non ssd's.
