Not sure if this is the right section..

So I just started getting back into PC gaming, mainly FPS..

I feel like I used to be a lot more precise with my mouse, but now after buying a new mouse, everything just feels a little strange.

Anyways!

I have a Razer Death Adder Chroma
and its crazy to me how there's so many ways to configure the sensitivity..

First, you have the basic Windows Mouse options to slide the bar more or less,
then you have the Razer software where you can customize the DPI and what not..
and lastly, you have the sensitivity in game to configure..

Is there any rule of thumb how these should be worked? I know its whatever your preference / play style is..

Not the biggest deal, just wondering what everyone else does.

Pretty sure most pros do similar to ChingeR. 800 DPI 6/11.

Some roll 800 DPI and in-game downscale it to .5 or some shit. It's too low for me, but those guys use their entire arm for movement -- not just wrist.

Yeah I have no idea. I do 800 DPI for Overwatch/vector illustration and 1200 DPI for League. Not sure how they do it.

Yeah most pros use arm for big turns and then wrist for precise aim. Some play with high sense too though

I use different sensitivity depending on the game I play. CSGO i play at 450dpi with 1.6 in game sens but everything else I play at like 2K dpi
