So for christmas, my brother said he would buy me a mother board. Mind you, I want to go intel. But I will probably be buying the parts for the computer as time goes on. What is a good mother board to buy, to be compatible for future parts or thats just really great overall with current parts already out?

It all depends on what cpu youre getting. The newest mainstream cpus are LGA 1151 socket and if you're getting an unlocked overclockable chip you need a Z170 chipset mobo. I really like MSI and recommend this one:
