What version of Windows are you running and what browser are we talking about?

You didn't install the bing bar did you?

Tools > Options (If you don't see the Tools, Just press the left Alt. key on your keyboard).

If it still reverts, I would suspect Win 10, if you are running Win 10.








/e Once you are on the Search tab as shown in the pic, you need to select Google ( or w/e search engine you like) in the drop down box.

Could be. But if you set Firefox to a certain browser it SHOULD stay that way. See the RED dots...

After trying all of the above apparently Microsoft is still trying to hijack my browser and make it Bing.

Do you have Win 10 Pro or Win 10 Home?
