I just installed my new graphics card and installed what was in the disk that came with it but after all that and I restarted my computer, my screen looked wrong.
It's currently at 1920x1080 which is recommended but my desktop is stretched and I can't see the windows start menu, cant see the clock at bottom right.
If i lower it to 1768x992 then it fits perfectly but it begins to flicker/blinking and somewhat twitchy.

2nd thing i did was go to device manager and found graphic card and hit update driver software but says its up to date.

not sure what to do now

Problem was monitor hdmi cord was connected to AV? Switched to PC on my monitors settings and is fine now

some times there is scaling settings, changing the settings on the display itself should help, (auto fit, scaling, movie/game mode) and sometimes you also have to hit apply for all inputs. this only matters if you arent getting the resolution you want, to fit the screen.

ohhh and try not to use disks... the drivers are often outdated. as long as you have an internet connection it should install the correct drivers automatically. and sometimes a simple restart is all thats needed for your shit to kick in
