I see people complaining about colors on 144hz monitors, looks perfectly good to me.

It's not worth spending 500$-1000$ for a few brighter colors, just turn up digital vibrance on nvidia if u care that much about colors, mine at 65%

Totally agree with you but have you ever seen a TN next to an IPS? Definitely a huge difference but unless you're a professional photo editor or something 144hz>

Calibrating doesn't make it the same. Although new TN panels (2016 models) get pretty damn good if they have 8 bit colors. Comparable to IPS.
