So both my headphones and speakers only play sound out the right side. If I raise the volume sound comes from the left side too. I think my soundcard took a shit?

Rear connection on the sound card for my headphones. Front connect iwth my speakers. It just randomly happened during a starting match on counterstrike. The left is side is very low awhile the right is WAY too high. At volume 2 out of 100 the right speaker is loud as fuck. The left balances out at 100% volume via the console. I am hoping this is a software issue and not something fucking up. :(((((((((((((((((((

This sounds like what happens when something's only half plugged in. Have you tried a new cable?

Whew crisis adverted. After trying tons of different ideas I came up with I finally uninstalled the driver. Then I redownloaded the STX software and made sure it was the WINDOWS 10 version in case I didn't have it before. The software then deleted the old files, and did a bunch of soft. Restarts in between. After playing with the sounds and balance everything works great again. Maybe better! DRIVERS PEOPLE! ALWAYS ASSUME IT'S THE DRIVERS!!
