Wireless signal?

I'm trying to reach a signal on the other end of my house without
having to move the router/modem location. I don't have a budget
for hardware but I'd rather not go over $500.

I appreciate your input/trolls.

throw a shield cable over your house to desired area.

Or, if you just want better hardware all around, get a Netgear Orbi. Best router on the market right now.

If that would allow my signal to be thrown farther so to speak, I don't mind upgrading the hardware.

Honestly, if you are willing to spend that kind of money

Spool of Cat5E burial cable or UV resistant cable
Couple Leviton jacks and wall plates
couple of drywall cut-in plates
Punch tool
drywall saw
Some RG6 coax anchors (same rough sizing)
Long drill bit
pass-throughs

drill holes in your house where you want the cable, poke through on the other side so you know where to cut in the drywall
Cut your hole and install your cut-in plate
insert the passthrough, pass the cable through it
Punch the cable down onto the jack
install in wall plate

repeat on other side
secure to your house

probably cost you an hours work, an hours shopping, and maybe $150, and you will have an infinitely better connection

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=power+line+adapter&ignorear=0&N=-1&isNodeId=1

a powerline adapter.

you plug one into a wall near your router, wire ethernet to it.

plug the other by your computer, run ethernet from it to your pc.
