So, I have these bluetooth headsets (sound and microphone). Initially the sound is terrible. After some research, I found out that if you disable the associated microphone under Sound>Recording on Windows7, the sound quality goes up.

So the question is now, how do I keep the sound quality while enabling the microphone on it?

Your problem is obviously very much related to the specific model you're using, so you should always try to inform the people who are trying to help you.

For all we know, the headset could only supports old bluetooth standard and is only capable of delivering a set amount of data which limits the quality, or it could be your bluetooth receiver...

NO...describing your Bluetooth headset is not what he meant.
Giving us the make and model number of your headset allows us to check it's specs and to research what others have said about it.
