ive had this tv on for at least 10 to 15 hours since ive got it. it was new. samsung ku6300 model

it reeks really bad of hot plastic when its on....

i thought the smell is supposed to go away?
ive heard its the plastic coating on the circuit boards or electronics in the tv that are melting off because they are there for protection at first?

should the smell go away? how bad is it to breath?

Hmm, I distinctly remember telling someone not to buy a Samsung TV.

with numerous samsung products exploding and/or catching fire recently
why would we go and buy a samsung product

I guess they knew about the washer/dryer issue with catching on fire for awhile before they issued a recall.... When they were asked why they waited so long.. Their reply was "We were afraid to pick up our phones"
