You can still upgrade for free - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/accessibility/windows10upgrade
No need to buy a key yet and it's directly from microsoft. Did it the other day on a refurbished i5 desktop I bought for my mom to replace her dead computer. Managed to upgrade from win 7 32 bit up to win 10 64 bit.

Yeah link him the link for disabled people.
Thats not morally wrong to use at all.

Assistive technologies are for those with disabilities and who cannot use a computer in a conventional manner (e.g. narrators for the blind, eye tracking machines for those unable to move a mouse, suck and puff machines, etc). Unless you use those, please do not use the link floating about to late upgrade.

You want to talk about morality when you mention a grey market site like kinguin? bit hypocritical. Or were you not aware how grey market sites like kinguin operate?

I am not aware actually.
But posing as a disabled person is pretty fucking low imo.
just pirate it and be cheap no need to take advantage of a system meant for the disabled.

They sell cheap keys. They are cheap because they are purchased via stolen credit cards, keys that are not meant to be sold, or are breaking Microsoft's rules and ripping them off in some other way.

E: They're only legit insofar as they are real, working keys.

If that is indeed the true nature then install without a key.
Works just the same but you can't change the desktop wall paper and a few minor things.
it updates just the same as well.
