I got a brand new ssd (Samsung 850 EVO) and removed my old hdd (which was working fine), I managed to install it and Windows on it successfully. The problem is programs aren't installing properly. As an example,
I installed f.lux software where it chooses to auto-install under the users subfolder "appdata" My assumption is it's a directory problem, but I'm not exactly sure how to be sure that it indeed is. I checked out several YT guides, but nothing seemed to be about my exact situation and some were a bit too advanced for me.

The main thing I'm looking for help with is setting up my video card. My GPU drivers are properly installed in the program files folder, but I can't even detect my video card.
Any help appreciated, will gladly pay for help in getting this resolved in less than 24h. If you have any general videos/guides that may relate that would help as well.

TLDR: Successfully Installed new ssd (windows installed correctly), but additional programs aren't working/running properly.

Will check back in the morning, going to sleep now.

I would just uninstall f.lux and get the vid card drivers working....first.

DDU Instructions - Nvidia/AMD
1. Get this program, here: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=144 ...from the "Official Download Here" link, and save it to your desktop.
2. Get your vid card driver here, use the Manual Search: Nvidia: http://www.geforce.com/drivers ...or AMD: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download ...save this to your desktop.
3. Run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose: Nvidia or AMD, then choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you. If it wants to go into "Safe Mode", let it.
4. After it's done and comp has rebooted to normal mode, just double click the Nvidia or AMD driver ( that you saved to your desktop in step #2) ...to install. If it want's to reboot, let it.

Worked and everything seems to be doing fine. Still testing out any issues. I was freezing while idle a lot yesterday, but nothing has happened yet.
Only thing I'm getting now is a loud buzzing sound while playing games, I can even hear it while system sound is muted. Is that common for an SSD, or is it more likely something else?

SSDs can not buzz.

Buzzing noises come from vid cards, or power supplies mainly. Sometimes from fans or motherboards. Get an 18" piece of dowel rod and you can use it like a stethoscope, to isolate exactly where the noise is coming from.

For example, put on end ON your ear and then touch the other end to say....the vid card chassis or the power supply chassis. When you find the right component, the sound will get noticeably louder.
Usually the buzzing or whining is from an induction coil on the vid card or in the PSU. It's called coil whine.
