Never owned a SSD, I just did some PC upgrades on Mobo/CPU but I realized I should upgrade my drives too.
Right now I'm only rocking a solo 500GB drive, it's kind of old...

Im thinking about maybe getting this... o_o it's a nice deal, what do you think?
Also a quick question, I installed Windows 10 OEM edition on my computer, how do I go about installing a new SSD and have that carry over, or will I need to install windows again with a new OEM key?

I'm thinking of maybe just getting the cheaper 250GB Version of the Samsung EVO 850
Is 250GB enough for Windows and some games? Or will I regret not buying 500GB?

If your looking to add games i'd go 500.
most good titles can easily be 80gb

I use a 250 just for OS and basic applications

I live in Canada, so with shipping and handling and CDN dollar, I'd be saving about $110 going with the 250GB.
I game a lot but I constantly uninstall games I don't play but I also game on PS4, if I don't play it anymore it's off my computer.

I'm reading that there's some reliability issues with that drive, I don't know if I want to take my chances.

ssd's nowadays are pretty reliable.
even good ones can have its problems, and mushkin is a known brand.
i got crucials and samsungs and they're all still working, i'd only buy a samsung when it's on a huge sale.
example: pro 850 was on sale for $110 CAD a month ago, and pricematched it with bestbuy for additional 10% off.

Is there a noticeable performance between the Samsung one and the Mushkin one? At least anything noticeable for the average person?
