Depends on the manufacturer.

manufacturers dont usually handle mir

Mir is very easy to do, if you know how to follow basic instructions.
However, a lot of ppl can't seem to read and follow instructions, so it really depends on the person.

If it involves cutting out your UPC code, you may end up trading your warranty over a $10-$25 check. Most of the rebates are handled by a third party, so your rebate might not get through for whatever reason. I have had good luck on rebates that are over $50 and very little luck with rebates under $25.

The rebate form tells you literally what you need to do.

I've never had a rebate rejected in my life because I take 2 minutes to read the damn thing
