Evening all.

I've done a fair amount of research and haven't found a solution to this dilemma.

I have a LG 27UD68 monitor and a Dell XPS 15 (9550) laptop. I want to run my laptop to the 4K monitor at 60Hz. Everything I have found online has pointed to severe issues. For instance, the Dell 3100 dock outputs DisplayPort to 50Hz and HDMI to 30Hz. So, how am I going to get 60Hz on that monitor?

You're not going to get 60 Hz

You'll have to downclock the monitor to 50hz or 30hz depending on display port or hdmi.
