Alright here's the problem!

I moved out of where I used to live and have a stable wired connection on my desktop with 0 issues. I then had to use a wireless connection which bugged for the past few months but I thought it was the wireless causing the problem.

Every connection on the network had issues, except when I tried to wire myself in directly to the router.

So I went and bought a 50ft ethernet to ethernet cable to fix the problem. Even with this cable my desktop now gets 8-10mbs download and 0.20 upload (On both chrome and firefox)
While my laptop with the same cable, in the same room gets 20mbps download and around 8-10 upload.

What can cause this problem on my desktop! I'm out of solutions and I can't play anything with this connection :(

Running a self made pc using an Asrock pro3 75 motherboard.

update drivers

Woudn't be posting here if it was so simple... Checking the drivers was one of the first thing I did...

Stuff I tried:

Different computers
Different browsers
Updating Drivers
Updating Java
Rebooting pc

Then once would assume its the nic itself.
Try another Ethernet port on both pc and router.

Tried on the router and it didn't change anything. Only have 1 ethernet port on my desktop so can't really change socket

Solution found, can be closed.

A winsock reset in the CMD prompt fixed my download rate and then closing CFO speed shaping fixed my upload
