This is what I've used for the past few years --> https://www.amazon.ca/Pulse-Wireless-Stereo-Headset-PlayStation/dp/B0087OZ5FG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1477545405&sr=8-2&keywords=ps4+pulse
It's been incredible for sound / mic, battery life and functionality. However Sony seemingly cheaps out on build design, so it's cracked on both sides. In spite of some electrical tape to patch it up for a while, it's a nightmare getting it to hold a charge now. I won't be getting a replacement.

The one's I'm looking at are;

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00I03ORDU/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2UA6I9QVHYWL7&coliid=IS8CSN11ZWHZ9&psc=1

I know, I know - another Sony... but if I get another 2-3 years from it, that'd be great.

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B003VANOFY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2UA6I9QVHYWL7&coliid=I2V0MPC3JJC3O9
or
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B001O5CCQK/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2UA6I9QVHYWL7&coliid=IRISFJFWECWFW&psc=1

Feel free to share your opinions on these, and/or suggest others.
My budget is sub $200 CAD.

It needs compatibility with PC and PS3. Preferably 7.1 as I enjoy the virtual surround when I watch movies on PS3. I'm not really opposed to wired ones anymore, so long as its got a long cable.

Thanks for reading!

I don't own any consoles so my question is do they support bluetooth headphones? If so then I would take a look on these:

No, they have proprietary bluetooth headsets.

Op, you can get wired headphones and buy a usb dac with aux and mic input. If you only want wireless, then you're stuck with PS4 headphones for your PS4. The headsets you posted may work if they can be connected via USB.

Oh woops read PS3 as 4. Ya you right. Just to add, the mic on the apple earbuds won't work with the PS4 controller unfortunately.

those mixamps are so moody... I've had a total of 2 of them and both of them distort/go out like crazy from what I've read UNLESS they have redesigned them

This is probably the best one. You just want a specific product (wireless headset) for a very specific (outdated -- PS3) use. Your options are limited. If you already like your PS3 headset... just get another one? If you want actual good sound, then get some nice $200 headphones and call it a day.
