So if I was to buy a 512gb I could just hook it up and use it as storage?

I did the new windows update and now for some reason i can't delete the old preupdate version.so now I have 1.3gb available out of 223 lol

Yes it would be that easy. You would just need allocate the space to NTFS in Disk Manager.

Are you talking about windows.old ?
