I'm starting to have videos do like black pixelation.. also I can't even max WoW out unless I put on view distance to like 1-3..

My system is

PSU - 650W EVGA

CPU - i5 6500

GPU GTX 970 4GB

MOBO - MSI Z170-A PRO

RAM - DDR4 2400 even though it shows up sometimes as 2133?

I just want to make sure things are solid. I just don't get why I have an issue with WoW really.

I just did the Unigine Heaven Benchmark and got this:

Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0

FPS:
53.0
Score:
1336
Min FPS:
8.3
Max FPS:
111.9
System

Platform:
Windows NT 6.2 (build 9200) 64bit
CPU model:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz (3191MHz) x4
GPU model:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 21.21.13.7557 (4095MB) x1
Settings

Render:
Direct3D11
Mode:
1920x1080 8xAA fullscreen
Preset

Quality

Tessellation:

Yeah you should most definitely be able to max wow lol

Get afterburner and run it while playing then check the monitoring for readings on gpu voltage, clock speed, memory usage, power % and see if theres anything strange going on

Wow is heavily CPU driven... the CPU you have isn't the best for that type work load. Reinstall gpu drivers and try it
