I have a seasonic g series 750 w psu and im trying to hook it up to my asus sabertooth z77 mother board.

None of the attachment match the eatx12v fully.

The best match only hooks 6 out of the 8 pins, the last set of 2 are wrong.

Do I need to get a specific cord from seasonic or what can I do?

Direct from the PSU specs

M/B: 1 x 24/20Pin
CPU: 1 x 8/4Pin
PCI-E: 6 x 8/6Pin
CPU: 1 x 8Pin
Peripheral: 5 x 4pin
SATA: 10
Floppy: 1

Should be a 2x 4 pin that plugs in there.

The cord you mention is broken into 2. I dont have photos or anything so its going to be though to explain.

The cord looks like this

++ +=
++ =+

The motherboard needs

+==+
=++=

So only 4 pins will properly fit.

Also says there's another 8pin.

Is the PSU new? If it is, Could they have shorted you a cable? If not.. Did you happen to lose it?
